As a member of the global society, the chemical fiber industry possesses the power to create and generate high-value products. Our management goal is to supply the society with “sustainable and high-value” yarn, conducting product development and supply that align with the balance of Earth’s resources and needs. Our ideal goal is to develop alongside chemical fiber industriy with the trust of our customers.
| 1963 | Shunji Iba founded Manyo Corporation in Yamatotakada-City in Nara prefecture after retiring from Nissho Iwai. The company initiated the supply of color dyed natural fibers to domestic textile factory. |

| 1986 | AVILAS CORPORATION was established (Capital stock USD 200,000-）. The company was first domestically that initiated the supply of color dyed woolly nylon DTY yarns. Released the colorbook of Nylon yarns vol 1, started nylon yarn stock style each 250 colors for 122Dt/2 and 78Dt/2 thickness. |
| 1988 | AVILAS yarn winding factory founded. Updated NYLON Color Book vol 2, increased woolly Nylon yarn colors each 420 colors for 122Dt/2, 78Dt/2 and added 56Dt/2, 33Dt/2. Total kinds of yarns was 1,600 SKU. |
| 1990 | Updated NYLON Color Book vol 3, added woolly Nylon yarn 22Dt/2 180 colors and 22Pu x 78Ny spandex yarn 100 colors as well. |
| 1994 | New headquarter building established. Updated NYLON Color Book vol 4, increased colors of 122Dt/2, 78Dt/2 to 520 colors. |
| 1998 | Yasufumi Iba was inaugurated as the second president. Started Shape-memory polyester yarn “SOLOTEX 56Dt/1” for the flat knitting machine. Released colorbook of SOLOTEX 250 colors vol, 1. |
| 2000 | AVILAS CORPORATION concluded polyester material and yarn sales agent contract with HOTTA(SHANGHAI) CO.,LTD. in China, then build a stock yarn retail sales of Shape-memory polyester yarn “SOLOTEX 56Dt/1 225 colors” in Shanghai. Hirokazu Ohara appointed as managing Director of the nylon business dept. |
| 2003 | Concluded nylon material and yarn sales agent contract with Asiasocks ( Shanghai ). Made a stock yarn retail sales of nylon yarn 77Dt/2, 33Dt/2 100 colors in Shanghai. Updated NYLON Color Book vol 5, added lame yarn 20 colors. |
| 2005 | Concluded polyester material and yarn sales agent contract with Hong Kong Trading CO.,LTD. Made a stock yarn retail sales of SOLOTEX 225 colors in Hong Kong. |
| 2009 | AVILAS Socks Brand “AVILAS” launched. Updated NYLON Color Book vol 6, exclueded lame yarn 20 colors from the colorbook. |
| 2013 | Avilas Socks shop located in Shanghai, also promoted that brand socks to Europe as well. Updated NYLON Color Book vol 7, increased colors of 122Dt/2, 78Dt/2 to 540 colors. |
| 2016 | Receiving the Good Support Award (1st place in the prefecture ) hosted by Nara Chuo Shinkin Bank. Hirokazu Ohara and Koji Isaka appointed as Director of their belonging dept. |
| 2018 | Due to strong performance in brand sock that ordered Avilas to make in Japan directly sales in Europe and the United States, revised sales strategy and withdrew AVILAS original brand shop from Shanghai. Updated NYLON Color Book vol 8, increased colors of 122Dt/2, 78Dt/2 to 540 colors. added space dyed polyester yarn and monfilament dyed nylon yarn. |

Imported the latest processing machine for nylon raw materials (latest winder) and was selected for a subsidy project in Nara Prefecture.

Color book creation for the super functional material collection “AVILAS PLUS.” Developed and started selling biodegradable nylon yarn, ultra-deodorizing yarn, moisturizing (antioxidant effect) yarn, and anti-virus incorporated yarn.
With the launch of “AVILAS PLUS,” the handling department for SOLOTEX was transferred to “AVILAS PLUS.”
Received the Good Support Award (1st place in the prefecture) hosted by Nara Chuo Shinkin Bank.
Imported and installed the latest winder for the second consecutive year.
Renamed the Nylon Business Division to Chemical Fiber Dept.
