1. Features: Split Yarn , GRIP

– Split Yarn :

Polyester long fibers undergo special processing, splitting them 10 to 20 times more than the normal filament count to create a yarn with anti-slip properties.

– GRIP :

As explained above, GRIP is a split yarn. Typically, 81Dt thickness polyester is about 36f. However, GRIP further splits these 36 fine filaments more than 24 times. Fabrics containing GRIP exhibit fine resistance on the surface, resulting in anti-slip effects.

The average thickness of Japanese women’s hair is about 0.08mm, while for the Westerners, it’s approximately 0.05mm.
Japanese hair is on average 1.5 times thicker than the Westerners.
The section labeled 0.01mm in the pictures represents roughly 1/8th the thickness of a strand of Japanese women’s hair.

Traditional split yarns faced challenges in adjusting slip resistance effectively. While suitable for some limited markets like golf gloves, when applied to products that come into contact with complex and dynamic areas like socks or innerwear, the friction from traditional split yarns could be too strong, leading to some issues. Our GRIP achieves outstanding anti-slip effects through moderate splitting.

Currently, we are conducting verification tests for sports sock applications in baseball, soccer, and have observed excellent results without skin issues.

   – GRIP Durability:

     As GRIP is a split yarn from polyester long fibers, it has minimal abrasion elements similar to natural fibers, providing excellent durability due to the characteristics of long fiber structures.

     Our specialized and high-performance split yarn “GRIP” is versatile, allowing for various applications. We have adopted a stock sales format to reduce inventory risks for partners, prevent the production and circulation of surplus products. Stocking pre-dyed yarn facilitates easier engagement with production-side planning, flexible adaptation to tight schedules or changes in plans, and alleviates retention of circulation funds, resulting in shortened delivery times.
